I believe its two twin mattresses and the problem is they are going to separate unless you bind them together some how maybe Velcro, that is your main problem The twins should be the thicker better quality mattresses. They sell a lot of foam overlays...
Where is a good place to buy foam for cushions?
Wal Mart carries foam, just not sofa size. Other than that look in your phone book under FOAM. Call for prices. Also call a few mattress places and buy a couple twin size foam mattresses and cut them to size with an electric knife. Works great.
